Practices to Extend Cutting Board Life
- Sharpen the cutting die on a regular basis
- Do not drive the blade too deeply into the cutting board
- Store board horizontally to prevent warping and arching
- Make sure cutting press is properly leveled
- Ensure that the pad shifter is functioning properly
- Rotate the cutting board 180° after each shift
- Flip the cutting board for even wear
- Regardless of the type of cutting board you use, its life can be extended by following these guidelines
